Connecting LinkDeal to Slack

Step-by-step guide to connecting your Slack workspace to LinkDeal for automatic lead delivery.

Last updated: 8 August 2026

Slack integration lets you receive leads directly in your workspace. Setup takes about two minutes using Slack's Incoming Webhooks feature.

Step-by-step setup

1. Open Slack App Directory

Go to your Slack workspace and click the workspace name in the top left. Select Settings & administration then Manage apps.

Alternatively, visit: https://[your-workspace].slack.com/apps

2. Search for Incoming Webhooks

In the App Directory, search for "Incoming Webhooks" and click on it.

3. Add to Slack

Click Add to Slack to configure a new webhook.

4. Choose a channel

Select the channel where you want leads to appear. We recommend creating a dedicated channel like #linkdeal-leads.

5. Copy the webhook URL

After selecting a channel, Slack shows you a Webhook URL. It looks like:

https://hooks.slack.com/services/T00000000/B00000000/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Copy this entire URL.

6. Paste in LinkDeal

Go to your LinkDeal dashboard. In the top right, you will see a field labelled "Slack Webhook URL". Paste your webhook URL here and click Save.

7. Test the connection

Click Test to send a sample message to your Slack channel. If it appears, you are all set.

Create a dedicated channel for LinkDeal leads:

Channel name: #linkdeal-leads

Purpose: "Leads from LinkDeal LinkedIn prospecting"

Who to invite: Your sales team or anyone who should see incoming leads.

This keeps leads organised and easy to find.

Sending leads to Slack

Once connected, you can send leads to Slack in two ways:

  1. Individual send: Click the Slack icon on any lead card
  2. Bulk send: Select multiple leads and click "Send to Slack"

See Sending leads to Slack in bulk for details.

Troubleshooting

Webhook URL not saving: Make sure you copied the full URL including "https://hooks.slack.com/".

Test message not appearing: Check that you selected the correct channel and that you are a member of that channel.

Messages going to wrong channel: Generate a new webhook for the correct channel and update in LinkDeal.
