Finding leads by company domain
Learn how to use Post Engagement search to find people reacting to LinkedIn posts from specific companies.
Last updated: 8 August 2026
Post Engagement search by company domain is one of the most powerful ways to find high-intent leads. It surfaces people who are actively engaging with content from companies you care about.
How it works
When you enter a company domain (like "salesforce.com" or "hubspot.com"), LinkDeal:
- Finds recent LinkedIn posts from that company's page
- Identifies people who have reacted to those posts
- Returns lead cards with profile details and reaction types
The people who engage with a company's posts are often:
- Existing customers evaluating alternatives
- Prospects researching solutions in that space
- Industry followers interested in the topic
All of these are warmer than a cold list.
Entering a domain
In the Post Engagement tab, select "By Company" and enter the domain in the search field. Use the company's main website domain:
- salesforce.com (not www.salesforce.com)
- hubspot.com (not app.hubspot.com)
- stripe.com (not stripe.dev)
LinkDeal automatically matches this to the company's LinkedIn page.
What posts are scanned
LinkDeal scans the company's most recent LinkedIn posts, typically from the past 30 days. The exact number depends on posting frequency, but we look at the most engaging content.
Each post costs 5 credits to scan, so a typical search scanning 2-5 posts costs 10-25 credits.
Who appears as a lead
Anyone who has reacted to the scanned posts appears as a lead, with these exceptions:
- Company accounts (we filter these out)
- Private profiles with limited visibility
Each lead card shows the person's name, title, company, and which reaction type they used.
Reaction types
LinkedIn has six reaction types, each indicating different intent:
- Liked - general approval
- Celebrated - strong positive sentiment
- Found insightful - intellectual engagement
- Cared - emotional connection
- Found funny - casual engagement
- Thanked - appreciation
See Reaction types explained for guidance on prioritising outreach based on reaction type.
Combining with filters
You can narrow results using filters:
- Job title - only show people with specific roles
- Industry - filter by their company's industry
- Location - filter by country
- Technology - only show people at companies using specific tools (+10 credits)
Filters are applied after the search, so they do not reduce credit cost but help you focus on the most relevant leads.
