Last updated: 8 August 2026

LinkDeal offers a 5-day free trial so you can experience the full platform before committing. Here is everything you need to know about how the trial works.

Starting your trial

When you complete onboarding and add your payment card, your 5-day trial begins immediately. You receive 50 credits to use during this period.

Your card is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before day 5, you will not be charged at all.

What 50 credits gets you

Credit costs in LinkDeal:

ActionCost
Post Engagement search5 credits per post
ICP Search5 credits flat
Contact enrichment15 credits
Recent posts unlock5 credits
Comment unlock10 credits
Technology filter+10 credits

With 50 credits, you can:

  • Run 10 basic Post Engagement searches, or
  • Enrich 3 leads with contact details, or
  • Mix and match to test different features

This is enough to evaluate whether LinkDeal works for your prospecting workflow.

During the trial

You have full access to all LinkDeal features:

  • Both search types (Post Engagement and ICP Search)
  • All filters (job title, industry, location, technology)
  • Contact enrichment
  • Recent posts and comment unlock
  • Slack delivery
  • MCP server access

The only limitation is your 50-credit balance. If you run out, you can upgrade to a paid plan immediately to continue.

What happens at trial end

On day 5, one of two things happens:

If you keep your subscription: Your selected plan activates and your card is charged. Your credits reset to your plan allocation (200 for Starter, 600 for Growth, 1500 for Pro).

If you cancel: Your card is not charged. Your account remains accessible in read-only mode, you can view your history but cannot run new searches.

Upgrading during the trial

You can upgrade to any paid plan at any time during your trial. The trial ends immediately and your plan begins. This is useful if:

  • You run out of credits before day 5
  • You want to lock in a specific plan
  • You are ready to commit

Cancelling the trial

To cancel, go to the Billing page and click "Cancel subscription". Your access continues until the trial end date, but you will not be charged.

After the trial

If you cancelled but want to return later, simply log in and choose a plan from the Billing page. Your account data and history are preserved for 6 months after cancellation.
